Dear Neighbors:
As someone who cares deeply about
Valley Village and our city, I ran for City Council
because I know we need profound change in
City Hall. I
continue to believe we deserve a better city
government than the one we have, and I'll continue
to work actively to achieve it.
During my campaign I got to know both
candidates and I have studied their respective
philosophies and vision. On December 8th we will
make an important decision about the future of our
city and our community when we choose between the
two candidates. I am convinced that there is only
one choice for those of us who would like to see a
more responsive and accountable City Hall.
I am supporting
Paul Krekorian to be
our next City Council
Member and I hope you will join me in casting
your vote for him.
I know he will listen to what issues
most concern our community and will be an effective
and reliable advocate for us on the Council.
Paul has a proven track record and has the resolve
to tackle our difficult budget challenges, fight
against inappropriate development, protect public
safety and generate new and sustainable jobs.
He has both the experience and the
independence we need. Paul has earned my
confidence and trust.

have any questions. When you do, I know you'll feel
as strongly as I do that Paul Krekorian is the
best choice for Council District 2 on December 8th.
Sincerely,
Peter Sanchez
Valley Village, CA

On September 22nd, the voters of Council
District 2 have an important decision to make;
they
will vote to fill the vacant council seat of former Councilmember Wendy Greuel.
My name is Pete Sanchez and I am not only a
community activist in the District, I am a long-term
resident and your neighbor. I
have lived in Valley Village for 17 years. In that
time, I led the effort to create the Neighborhood
Council Valley Village and served as its first
President. The organization matured and took root
in the community. I then stepped down from the
Council and focused my efforts on the Valley Village
Homeowners Association where I have been president
for three years.
I
have demonstrated my leadership by being at the
forefront of issues that have challenged not only
the neighborhood, but the City as well. Traffic
safety, street maintenance, preserving neighborhood
character, fighting inappropriate development are
all part of my core values.
Today, Los Angeles faces an unprecedented financial
challenge. The situation parallels the massive
problems at the state level. Cuts to emergency
services are in process and an unfunded pension
liability, which is projected to amount in the
billions, threatens to sink the City’s budget and
could force bankruptcy unless sensible, fiscally
responsible leaders are elected.
As your City Councilmember, I will only support
sound financial policies and measures that protect
the character of all of the neighborhoods in this
District.
I
would be happy to meet with you and your neighbors
to discuss the issues that are important
to you.
Please call me at 818-515-3423 or contact me via

to set up a
meeting.
I
need your support to help combat the advantages
enjoyed by well-funded candidates---candidates that
do not represent the best interests of CD 2
residents. Click

dollar helps!
